Valued Volunteer Louise

Valued Volunteer Louise

Steve Harris22 Apr 2010 - 15:56

Louise Bunting was nominated as Burton RFC's Valued Volunteer and received her award at a dinner at Burntwood RFC

Louise has been involved with Burton Rugby Club for nearly 10 years when her eldest son, Tom, started playing at the age of 6, her husband Pete coached the team and it wasn't long before youngest son Charlie joined in.
Louise was always active within her sons' age groups and three years ago was asked if she would take on the role of mini/junior registration secretary, which she accepted. She has done a magnificent job collating and registering our ever growing mini/junior section which now stands at just under 400 children. She has also tackled the onerous task of transferring all the details onto Rugby First.
She helps husband Pete with the admin for his age group, she certainly lives up to the old adage 'if you want something done ask a busy person' ! Louise is going to be sorely missed in the registrar role but hopefully the club will not lose her services as she has been put forward for mini/junior secretary, a role we hope she will accept at the AGM. As a club Burton is extremely grateful that Louise has chosen to spend a lot of her free time helping out at the club, and because of this we felt she deserved to be nominated as Burton RFC's Valued Volunteer.
